One brightness measurement (lumens) is not enough. A projector‘s specification needs to show both high color brightness and high white brightness. I tried so many projectors trying to find the perfect fit for me. This projector was by far the best of everything I tried. I tried view sonic 1080p but the dlp technology was annoying with the rainbow effect. I returned it immediately. I was afraid of the LCD "screen door" effect but didn't see it at all. This projector was crisp and clear and looked amazing projected on my,light tan colored wall. Even at over 100"

Now I do need to say that I did eventually return this projector. It is oldest Epson 1080p and I know there must be a newer model just waiting to launch within a few months. So I let it go

But I was never dissatisfied with this projector. It was the best of all that I tried. And I tried a lot of models before keeping this one (for awhile)

If you can't wait, get this projector. You won't be disappointed, if you can wait and are a gambling man, I'm waiting for the next gen version before I commit to spending over 1000k

I purchased this and have loved every moment of owning it. I project on a wall and it still looks amazing. The crispness of a BluRay video on a 120" corner to corner wall is just phenomenal. I recently purchased a 100" screen that should increase the viewing pleasure as well. I keep this on a UPS at all times as a precaution if the power were to go out. I recommend any tech enthusiast do the same.

-The lens shift is an awesome feature. The projector actually sits about 5 foot right of center, but still projects perfectly center of the viewing screen.
-Focus is easily fine-tuned to the point you can see pixels on the wall if you get close enough.
-Color is very nice. Even for projecting on a wall without any special paint it has high contrast at night.
-The amount of zoom is perfect for 120" at about 12'-13' away with adjustment to make it quite small or oversized.
-The operation of the projector is very quiet. I've never heard it while watching a movie and barely hear it while it's the only thing on.
